Townsville Orofacial Myology clinic TOfM is owned and operated by Cathy Boyce. Cathy has a passion for delivering myofunctional therapy care to clients of all ages and understands the daunting task that finding the right answer can be in the health journey for you or your family.
Cathy has years of experience and commitment (too many to mention about she says!) in helping with the oral health requirements of clients of all ages in her role as an Oral Health Therapist in NSW and Qld. Her goal has always been to help her clients experience the health improvement in general and now is pleased to offer additional and often life-changing benefits through orofacial myology.
Almost always though, orofacial myologists work with other health care providers to help their patients gain the best of health in habit cessation or correction, breathing, muscle function and re-education. Cathy works closely with the regions medical and dental specialists, general dentists and other allied health professionals without bias to achieve the best outcomes for her clients.
For this reason, the TOfM clinic is operated independently, as an adjunct therapy health provider allowing for referrals to and from the clinic to be without restrictions. Of course, clients may self-refer for consultations and if additional practitioners are recommended a referral can be arranged.

Typically Cathy will see clients on Wednesday, Thursdays and Saturdays, and at other times by arrangement. Understanding that many clients live in regional areas and may experience the complexities of distance and travel, Skype services are available and may be a suitable option for clients who have difficulty with regular visits to Townsville.
